I have lived a fairly ordinary life surrounded by extraordinary people. I am a fifth generation Australian; my forefathers arrived in the First Fleet; one as a convict and the other as an officer in the Royal Marines. While raising three children, I have pursued various careers in the health, legal and industrial relations areas. Writing has ben my passion since early childhood when I began listening to my grandmother telling stories of pioneer women and felt compelled to write them down.
